some of the good neighborhoods would be baldwinsville, camillus, (stay as far away from solvay as you can), north syracuse area is not bad either. the night life is pretty good downtown they have clubs and bars and such, during the summer theres always something to do on the weekends, especially when the nys fair is going on. thers lots of festivals too, theres nearby state parks that are like a less than a 30 minute drive where you can go hiking/bike trails (i personally visit highland forest alot)
I also plan to get some fishing in in these prolific Australian waters. Australia has worked to protect its waters…

I guess Xtina never heard of the CLO Mini Stars or PMT or the umpteen theatre organizations who cast kids in their musical productions. Or Community Classes at Point Park. Or too many voice coaches, dance troupes and theatre schools to count. Or amazing high school musicals and the Gene Kelly Awards. Or, as previously mentioned, CAPA (both middle school and high school). But, you know, there just aren’t enough outlets to encourage kids who want to pursue the performing arts.

We visited one night last month and knew that place was a goner. A Cracker Barrel/Roots Music theme restaurant. Too bad – they had some great musicians scheduled who could definitely use the exposure. In a place like the Americana it appeared that the musical performers were a sideshow for the cookbooks, pottery, and jars of “homemade” jams for sale to the patrons. We are fans of the Evening Muse and Neighborhood Theatre, which have real atmosphere and a lower price tag, without the jelly.
Loosemuse: I abandoned the filmroll over an year ago – I either use the digital camera in the B&W mode (as in the above picture) or convert color photos into B&W when that seems appropriate (as in that railway station photo).
And the aspect of “home delivery” of “steam bath” in that photo had completely escaped my notice – innovative concept indeed!

The Island sounds absolutely stunning Terri, however I think my days of Camping and roughing it are over, you know 5 years as a girl guide was enough and then some camping escapades after that, no way thank you very much. However I would do it again if I was going Moreton Island really sounds beautiful! And I guess we should be thankful that the prettiest places on earth have not been developed my property developers.
